Mike Dougherty
Mike Dougherty There are two places that are near and dear to Mike's heart; they are the Missouri River near Craig, Montana where he guides each summer season for the West’s biggest and baddest rainbows and browns and the flats of Belize where he chases the fish that dreams are made of, the Permit, the holy grail of saltwater fishing.
It seems all the roads he has traveled lead to these ends.

Before that education, musicianship, and businessman all were worlds that brought him to where he is today. Each year, for many years, he's traveled the sunsets over the North and Central American continents in search of fishing adventure with, as it strangely turns out, those brothers that make up the team of Castafly Travel.

Mike Dougherty is a lifetime fisherman, hunter and ner’-do-well who lives in Montana and Idaho with his wife, Kathleen and their golden retriever, Mac.
